We have really OWNED the expansion teams the first two seasons that they've been in the league. Here's a look at the records:
vs. Saint John: 13-2-0-1
vs. St.John's: 11-1-0-0
Overall record vs. the 2005-06 expansion teams: 24-3-0-1
While beating up on these two teams is really nothing to brag about (especially last season) you do have to give the Cats credit for very rarely being burned by playing down to the level of the Dogs and Devils. And to think that at the beginning of the season I thought we might be in a 3-way battle with these two teams for the final two playoff spots...boy was I way off on that thought ;D

It's the same thing the last 2 years, whenever the Foggies are losing little man Paiement throws his goons out to try and injure or beat up on somebody.

Make sure you use the quote function when arguing with Trouty. He has a tendency to delete his own posts after making stupid statements to get people riled up.

So if you look at the two games Morehouse had on Monday and Friday and the one Marquardt had on Saturday.....my signature isn't looking too shabby right now ;D

I like Paiement's comment in the paper today.
The problem with the cats IMHO is they talk the talk....guys like Morehouse ask for it all game then when the time comes to face the music they turtle.
Here's what Paiement had to say.
They talk a lot, but don't do anything," he said. ``Obviously, after the performance of Gaudet we know why they don't want to fight. They can't fight so that's obviously why they keep their gloves on. Gaudet jumped Bachand and he got the worst of it."

Just because he talks a lot doesn't mean he's telling everybody he will beat them up.

You are taking that too literally... he means he asks for it with the way he plays... not that he runs around asking for a fight

He asks for it by being a dirty player....if your gonna play that game you should be able to back it up....if not somebody's gonna end up paying for his actions. With this being said props to Gaudet for standing up for his teamate even though he got tko'ed.

I don't know if he is yappy....he strikes me as being a yapper. I know he plays hard and he plays with energy. But my biggest complaint about his style of play is the flopping to draw penalties and my personal favourite the launching of himself into the boards to draw the checking from behind penalty. Morehouse is one of those guys if he is on your team you love hime if not he is a pain in the rear. Personally, I can't stand a flopper.
