I can't see them letting that happen this time as we are rebuilding and we will need to get our young guys the experience. But having said that if Sniderman plays well and Riopel doesn't then that may change things. But my guess is the starting job is Sniderman's to lose.
that's fine. i expect sniderman to be the starter, it's his turn, he benched it last year... i just hope they don't ride him into the ground like crawford and ruin another great goaltending prospect in the process - but like you said i don't expect that to happen, i think they'll give him sufficient time and if he plays well enough to steal the starting spot then great. sniderman would've still had his chance to be the #1
