Lets assume for a moment that Bourdon returns to the Q and the Cats look to deal him at Xmas ... where could he go and what might he fetch in return?
Looking around our division, the teams who appear to be in the hunt this year are C-B, A-B and Lewy. PEI and Halifax are darkhorses, although I don't see either of them mortgaging the future to land a Bourdon type this year. Players to target from C-B, Scott Brannon; from Lewy, Chaput (at the draft likely) and/or Kevin Marshall; Bathurst, hard to say, they don't have a lot of high end 17 and 18 year olds with the exception of Perreault, who is likely too much (maybe at the draft, but I doubt it...)
In the Quebec division, V-D is out ... Quebec, Gatineau, Drummondville, R-N, and possibly B-C and Victo look to possibly be contenders ... what would our shopping list look like from these teams?

The way I see it Lewiston won't be looking for a defense they need forwards so I wouldn't consider them an option. I also wouldn't consider Bathurst an option given their prospects and that they may not need a huge boast in defense.
Cape Breton could certainly be a possability although I don't think they would be willing to give up Brannon for a couple of months of Bourdon so I don't expect them to get him.
I think the two most likely candidates would be Gatineau for sure and if Rouyn Noranda if they prove to be a contender at midseason.
