that bet tracking thread should be updated once and for all. Looks like Forrest should've bet more than one beer on Gatineau making it to the semis.

Well, heres my bet for the 2006/2007 season... Once I move back to Charlottetown in October for my 2nd year of college, I get escorted out of the CCC by the police for cheering for all the opposing teams and NEVER THE ROCKET!!! Well, might cheer for them when Quebec's in town....Only exception though!! Heck, I've already got the dates of the Cats game in PEI circled on my calendar.

Well here goes nothing: East 1. CB I think the return of Pavelec will help them out a lot. Still not a potent offence but that could change. They solidified thier D with Bartulis. 2. Lewi I say this because they were a good team last year that gave us fits for most of our meetings. The loss of Aubin will hurt but I still think they will be 1 or 2. 3. A-B Our neighbors from "da north" will still have a good offence and their D is respectable the only question is their goaltending. Still it will be a race to the top for these three teams. 4. Halifax Still have a really good core of players and goalies. They lost some of their toughness and snipers but they should have enough depth to make up for the loss. and if J-D returns their goaltending will be good. 5.ST. Johns I realy feel that this team played well last year. If they can get away from the gooning it up style they can do well this year. They were great at home and a few extra wins on the road and they're right in the thick of things. Plus we'll get to here Trouty bash us all year 6. Cats We should be able to get a good jump before the Xmas deadline. We are depleted in our offence but with the 2 Imports we picked up and with hopefully some of our FA'a and US players(if we convince more to come) we should be decent enough to stay ahead of PEI and the Dogs. Sniderman I think will play wel in his first role as starter but we need to get Riopel 25 30 starts this year to get him ready for next season. I think it will be a fun year. 7. PEI They now seem to have a little bit of direction. It only took a few years. They got rid of the unhappy players who were causing trouble and seemed to get some upfront help. They will be a lot more entertaining this year than last. 8. Sea Dogs. These guys will be very good in a couple of years with their D core but this year they will be too young. Joyal may be able to steal a few games but the young D will make mistakes. They still don't have a lot of fire power which I think will hurt them. But these guys will make some noise in the next couple of years.
