With the addition of the concert and the NHL games, there's also a Sarah Harmer??? concert and a film festival going on the same weekend. Heard some mumblings around town today that the Stones might have to stay in Moncton and be driven to Halifax the day of the show because of the lack of hotel availibility in and around Halifax that weekend.

Yeah right!!!!! The Stones being driven the Halifax the day of the concert is funny............I think what you meant to say is that some poor bastard going down for the concert just lost his room to Mick Jagger.

When Mick was in Moncton he had the whole floor of the Hotel and wasn't scared to walk on our trails. I think there could some truth to that rumors.

I mean with Halifax dealing with random beatings, murders, and attempted child abductions lately Mick may decide to come and stay in a quiet peaceful town.

I'd like to think that the Stones have played in more violent, tumultous locales. This is Halifax we're talking about, not Lebanon.

I was waiting for falcon or another Haligonian to bite ... surprised you were the first to bite. Plus, I think the problems at Altamont were _way_ overblown.

How can you even joke about that? It was sarcasm. Obviously what is going on there is a very serious issue and hopefully everything is resolved very soon.

How can you even joke about that? Actually, it was more quick-witted sarcasm... I'm sorry it went over your head. I'll try to dumb things down next time.

I know it was sarcasm... but sarcasm has it's place!
This went overboard.
If you don't realize that, then you have a problem.
There are things you just don't joke about.
