Interesting ...
"HF: Will you definitely return in the fall?
S D-P: Definitely, I am going back for at least one year, and frankly I would like to go for as long as possible. If I can finish my degree, that is my preference. Of course, I don’t know what is going to happen with the draft, and what the NHL team would want for me. "
Maybe the Islanders would draft him and convince him to report to Moncton.

That would be nice. I figure he could be a great edition to the defensive corps.

It was only a brief interview but it sounds like he has no intention of playing Q league. He's more than happy where he is.

It was only a brief interview but it sounds like he has no intention of playing Q league. He's more than happy where he is. I read that he was happy where he was ... but he'll probably do whatever an NHL team that drafts him tells him to do. He was leaning toward the Q at one time so I doubt he'd be terribly opposed to coming here if thats what his NHL club wanted. Him being a Quebec kid means you don't have to sell him on the Q like you would an American kid ... he knows what it is all about. So I wouldn't say he has "no intention" of reporting ... today he is happy where he is and he is getting an education ... good choice to stay there I'd say ... for now. I guess any NHL team will look to see what kind of role he is playing at UMaine and decide if that is adequate for his development.
