So if Nolan is not staying, who represents us at the draft?

So if Nolan is not staying, who represents us at the draft? I will. I will use the logic that we did so well this year with blonde haired players that I will select only blonde draft choices. I really believe there is something to my theory. Did anyone else notice this?

I've also found that we have pretty good success when we acquire players named Nathan, Mathieu, Maxime and Josh ... so target those areas ... also ... if you can find a Dupuis and /or a Bernier ... go for it. We have enough MacDonalds right now ... try to stay away from them unless they have one of the above noted first names.

PS: You can never have enough MacDonalds. Half the Maritimes are MacDonalds and the other half what to be.

I suspect we're being visited by one Kevin MacDonald. MacDonald's are like ants...they can be found everywhere and seem to get into everything.

Wouldn't it make for an awesome end to a great season if, at tonight's rally, Irving stepped on stage and announced that the Cats and Ted Nolan have agreed on a multi-year deal for Ted to coach the Cats?

That would be AWESOME. It said in the paper that they would be discussing it in the next couple of days. What does he really have to lose? I am sure they will incorporate a clause (same as this year) if he is offered an NHL job he would be able to get out of his Moncton one.

Ted Nolan has the coaching ability to turn a somewhat inexperienced team (such as next season's) and end up with a play off spot. He could even turn the team into a Cinderella story of next season.

Back to the original topic of the thread, this mornings T & T reveals that Nolan's contract, which was technically set to expire immediately after the Mem Cup, has been extended by a month and he will oversee the draft and euro draft. Great news!!

When is the Euro draft? and what do we have for picks? Seeing as how Marty won't be back and what about Bart. He really played well for us through the playoffs and Mem Cup IMO. Do we trade him or keep him back there to keep our D pretty decent? Or trade him and draft two more Euros. (Preferably Latvians, they seem to work good here )
