Head-to-head comparisons Defense: Cats have the edge Goal: Conditional Even. If Tordjman doesn't rise to the occasion, edge to the Remparts. Forwards: As a unit, the Cats have the edge, but the Remps have the Radulov-Melanson factor. If Dupuis/Goulet aren't up to the task, it's a serious edge to the Remparts.
Cats win in 6 IF:
They stay healthy, and Goulet/Dupuis are close to 100%
They stay disciplined (this can't be stressed enough)
Tordjman is stellar
You CONTAIN Radulov. With that done, Melanson isn't that much of a factor. But Radu is the key guy
They do not have off-nights
You falter in any of these areas, and Quebec will make you pay for it by winning the series in 7.
P.S. I can't think any of these two teams would even consider easing off preparing for the Mem Cup. The bigger prize is the Mem Cup, but the hardest to earn is the Pres Cup.
For any of these two to even consider using that excuse now...
