Agreed, but the Q at that time was not that expanded out of Province. The context has now greatly evolved. Their credibility is at stake with the Mem Cup in Moncton and all the national Press following up the events in the Q. Only RDS is following the Q playoffs ... and they are cheering for Quebec. A hatchet job by a hand-picked Referee will be just swept under the carpet as another typical game by a Q Ref. If the Q assigns Charron I don't think any fix is in the works ... but if they assign Dutil to do a game 7 ... look out. Dutil really was not that bad last Friday night.

TVA, le Journal de Québec, Le Soleil,l'Acadie Nouvelle, SRC, CBC were all there at last game and our Moncton Press also. This is much more than we are used to over here. Just imagine now the coverage in place in Québec City tonight for a game 7!

The Q doesn't care what AN reports to a small portion of NB. Those media are not reporting to a national audience ... and most of the audience they are reporting to won't be upset by some corruption that benefits one of their own.

One way to get a reaction is to get a number of people to email hockey canada about an ordeal if it happens. As far as i know they have the authority to come in to any league and render a decision. OIt happened in the memaramcook valley league. Not sure on the details so i can't really comment on the specifics It is possible that i am way off base here, but maybe some else knows about this and can correct me.. Billy?

Not sure on the details so i can't really comment on the specifics I think Hockey Canada will only get involved if there is some sort of question over the interpretation of a rule, or a ruling handed down by a league that is being appealed (i.e. the Q were to announce a suspension that is felt to be unfounded). Not sure if they have any jurisdiction over the CHL anyways... and even if they did cries of "the ref was out to get us" would no doubt fall on deaf ears.

It's the Q against the Titan, no doubt about that, so it's already 1 or 2-0 Quebec before the game starts. That's why I have a hard time seeing the Titan coming out with the win (hopefully I eat my words).
Wouldn't it be something to have the Titan win after Roy said that the Wildcats only got first place because they were playing in weaker division and then Quebec can't even get through 2nd place of our division.
I am indifferent on who wins as I would really like for the Wildcats to beat Quebec themselves and put it to Roy but at the same time a NB super series would be great.

Hockey Canada has no say in penalities or reffing. the Q may or may not want Quebec to win, but they can't do much about it.

I think Quebec win 6-3 with an ENG.
There are 3 reasons...
-they lost last game and will want to bounce back. -they have a huge rowdy home crowd -they have the more talented team, if both play at 100% they win.
