Wow! What a way to start the playoffs, Val D'or upsets Quebec 6-3! I don't think anyone would have predicted that. I hope Val D'or knocks off those smug bastards.

And for the first time in the QMJHL. They are reviewing a play. Melanson hit the cross bar. They are making sure it wasn't the inside crossbar. i,m sorry penguins for that,i,m glad your going to post every game,my mistake

RECAP
QMJHL
Val-D'or 6 @ Quebec 3
OHL
Ottawa 2 @ Peterborough 3 DOUBLE OT Toronto 4 @ Barrie 5 OT Sault St.Marie 1 @ London 6
The 67's vs. Petes game was a dandy! Back and forth fast paced action. Both goalies with some great saves and both teams missing good oppurtunities in overtime.
So Quebec was the only home team to not win tonight. Should be another GREAT night in the CHL tommorow, especially out west.

If tonight proved anything it's that we better be ready to play tomorrow night. This is the playoffs and anything can happen. One #1 seed lost and another was taken to 2OT, and these teams were on home ice. We have to come out flying and put them down early and often and never look back. GIT-R-DONE!!

Patty Roy must be FUMING (with the Q and the format) and must be thinking ahead to his golf season (since they lost game 1, and they couldn't afford to spilt the 2 home games) ;D

I don't want to get ahead of myself, and I know it is quite improbable, but if Girard with Val d'Or would happen to eliminate Quebec, the Girard trade for Bourdon will look a whole lot better for Moncton, and the Québec letting him go two years ago will look quite bad for them.
