Just spoke with an alumni member of the Blue Eagles.
I am sad to report Savage is paralyzed from the neck down.
Please pray for him and his family.

My family and I watched him play in the final of the pre season tournament @ UNB in the gold medal game where U de M beat St. FX 3-2. I recall that Sebastien had two goals and was, deservedly chosen, player of the game. His intense passion and commitment were clearly evident. Our prayers are with him and we hope that the Blue Eagles, can somehow, find strength in this tragic circumstance.

We can only hope that the damage is not permanent and the he can make a recovery. My thoughts are with this young man and his family. With an injury like that the risk of permanent damage is huge. Especially when its the whole body. He is living a nightmare right now and i think his health is the more important of things. Unfortunately is hockey career is over.

Nothing we say or do can alleviate the pain and suffering that Sebastien and his family are experiencing right now but maybe somewhere down the road help when healing process begins. My family and I pray for you and yours, god speed in your recovery.

What a wonderfully positive outlook you have. Save the diagnosis for the doctor.
