How do you know that from a 2 line summary ... maybe Bernier was on the ice for all Phoenix goals ... maybe Yandle coughed up the puck on Bernier's goal. Stop being a puckbunny and post something of substance or don't post at all.

Actually, Bernier's goal was a power play goal and according to one eye witness account, on the hockey futures board, Yandle's goal was deflected by a fellow team mate

No idea. I read where they mixed up the lines a lot and I guess he played some left wing with Bernier and centred the smooth skating Jonathan Tremblay ;D

I made this statement in the context of this post plus what was posted earlier about Pineault's great effort the other day. You get up on the wrong side of the bed or something? I least I post on topic and not like some others who get off on the wrong track and post about everything under the sun and then some. Sheeesh!

You post like a girl ... too much sap and not enough real hockey content. Sorry if that hurts ... I'll move on now.

A few comments from posters on the HF Boards about Bernier's play in the Phoenix/San Jose game:
"Well the sharks lost the game 3-1 Bernier was the second star. Kaspar was the first.
In my opinion Bernier was the best player on the sharks Not only did he score but also drew a penalty by driving to the net and also getting in on a couple other plays."
"the goal scored by Bernier was a beauty. Top shelf from the faceoff circle. I don't think the goalie even saw it."
"Bernier's goal was an absolute beauty though--laser wrister over the shoulder of the Phoenix goalie."
"Bernier's goal was a beauty... top shelf, stick side."
"Bernier is my favorite prospect (I count Michalek as a Shark), but he seemed to take a period to get in gear...he was very strong in the 2nd, but he didn't get as much ice as I'd have liked to have seen in the 3rd."
Also, Re Salvis.... he couldn't have done too much. Noone mentioned him although the lines for the game were as follows: Joseph - Hennessy - Setoguchi Salvis - Prudden - Bernier Kaspar - Hennessy - Bernier Iggulden - Armstrong - Kaspar Olson - Salvis - Tremblay
The one comment on Yandle for Phoenix:
"The first goal was credited to Yandle, but it was tipped before it crossed the line. I was right behind that net, and the goal should have gone to someone else, but oh well."

Now if you could tell us the name of the poster that wrote each quote, with the date and time... as well as how many post they have. You could also give us a report on wether their opinion are CHSBed or if they are actually reasonable. If you also have time, find their age, sexe and profession.

Re Bernier's goal...read for yourself at www.sjsharks.com/sharks/news/news.asp?news_id=1463. A family relative has season tickets for the Sharks. Interesting to hear that SJ fans have really big hopes for SB. Many expect him to be another Owen Nolan for their club. Time to subscibe the NHL network and watch a few SJ games? Hope he sticks.

If you are in your right mind and you want that info, get off your butt and go to the HF boards and read what these people who are attending this tournament are saying. As for your last comment, it doesn't even deserve a response!

And how was Maxman to know it was sarcasm?? He has already taken Steve's abuse for just trying to provide a little information. It is too bad that this board has reverted to this, where only a few are allowed to post without some sort of backlash from the select few.
